Let's start from the beginning

Graduated in veterinary medicine, expert in veterinary chiropractic, physiotherapy & animal rehabilitation on Costa del Sol. A Norwegian nationality and born in Gran Canaria, makes her profession out of her passion for animals.

Since she was little, she awakened the vocation for animals, always surrounded by dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits and horses. She completed her dream the day she graduated from veterinary medicine.

She has always been linked to the horse world and her interest in equine sports medicine means that she travels around the world working and always learning from the best in different universities and reference hospitals in Barcelona, ​​Hannover, Munich, Strömsholm, Oregon and Kentucky.

In her 14 years of experience as a clinical veterinarian, she has evolved as a professional towards the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy since she finds the need to help animals from another approach, treating the pain of sports injuries and making maintenance plans to prevent such injuries from happening.

In her international experience, after doing internships in Barcelona and Sweden, she completed an internship in sports medicine and lameness at the NWEP reference center, North West Equine Performance, in Oregon, USA, and from there he went on to do internships in hospitals from Kentucky.
In 2008 she returned to Spain and worked as an equine clinical veterinarian, assisting at the Costa del Sol Equestrian Art School and at the Santa María Polo Club in Sotogrande among others. For two years she worked in Madrid directing the Equine Department of the Los Molinos Large Animal Clinic. In 2012 she relocated to the Costa del Sol to run her own business.

Her constant interest in offering an excellent service for her patients makes her combine her work as a clinical veterinarian with specialized studies and continuing education.

She is dedicated to the study of animal physiotherapy by the UCM, she is studying Veterinary Chiropractic in Germany working in Munich, she continues her training with veterinary acupuncture and holistic and applied veterinary kinesiology, as well as in homeopathy and craniosacral therapy. She is always moving forward to always offer the best treatment for her patients.

Her mission and passion become to provide a better quality of life and well-being, maintenance and sporting excellence, and recovery from injuries for her patients. Restoring the biodynamic functionality, preventing the appearance of injuries and breaking the cycle of pain.

She currently works on the Costa de Sol as a Veterinary Specialist in Equines providing Veterinary Manual Therapies Service as an Expert in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Chiropractic and Acupuncture in equines and small animals.
